To begin with, it’s important to note that we are both fairly particular individuals and that we had a very clear idea of how this important event would “feel” to ourselves and our guests. We had unreasonably high expectations and were comfortable admitting this fact.
From the very first meeting with you...we knew that you understood us and the importance of the event we were planning and shared our appreciation for the integral part that fine cuisine, incredible service and a true sense of style would play in the dream we had for our BIG day.
What we didn’t know, however, was that we’d find ourselves discussing – late into our wedding night – the extent to which your team absolutely exceeded our expectations:
- You were there when we needed you, but never in the way.
- You attended to every last detail, including making sure we (and the father-of-the-bride) were fed and watered!
- The food was as perfect and remarkable for 150 discriminating guests as it was for our 2-person tasting.
- Your entire staff was professional, attentive and incredibly well-versed in the details of our event.
- You...were on-site – and we only wish we had spent more time thanking you...in person for making this the single, best catering experience either of us has ever had!
I’m sorry that we aren’t as ebullient in our expression of gratitude and appreciation as we might have been if more immediate. Please know, however, that this is not a measure of how much we appreciated your involvement in our wedding, rather a measure of how very busy we have been since. If only we could entrust all important events in our lives to Gracious Events!"
